Chess for three... The name TriChess was given by professor Frank Harary in 1993. The World champion Anatoly Karpov received the very first piece of TriChess after playing it in 1996. In 1998 the president of Finland, Martti Ahtisaari was interested in TriChess game and got one, which was made especially for him.
