PART 1 of the first video lecture in the Chess Chatter series. I will try to explore the wacky strategic retreat 4...Ng8!? in the French, by analyzing 3 games (2 of which are my own: Dunne, C Lalic, P and Woods, T Lalic, P). This surprise move can be psychologically unnerving for the opponent, and often leads him into complex positional struggles in which the stronger player profits. I have a great record with this rare opening, and wholeheartedly recommend it! I apologize for the slight delay between video and audio I myself hope to learn from this video, in order to improve the future chess lectures in this series. |
