Descripción

In this excellent game chess grandmasters Wilhelm Steinitz (white) and Emanuel Lasker (black) challenge the paradigms of chess theory with bold and powerful usage of the King as an offensive piece during the midgame, dynamic Queen sacrifices and beautiful Bishop control. This game helped to define chess during the 20th century and onwards. Although the chess played may not seem sound by todays standards of hypermodernism this game is one of the definitive games of the millenium.
